In the heart of downtown Waterloo, King Street Trio might suggest pecan-crusted Brie, oysters Rockefeller, cantaloupe Serrano ham and marinated artichoke salad, paella or Moroccan-spiced rack of lamb.

Beertown Public House in Waterloo has lots of beers, for sure, but also dishes like beer and Cheddar soup, sweet potato fries, 18-hour brisket with baked beans, poutine, tacos, Big Salads, and seven or so “butcher” burgers from bacon Cheddar to veg and quinoa.

Dim sum is available daily and that takes you from Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce and turnip cakes to Phoenix paws and tripe. The usual Chinese menu items are also available.
